The Intrepid Adventures of Ralph Ingleton, one of my short stories released with Smashwords less than two months ago in eBook format, has just broken the ‘100 downloads’ barrier.
I was pleased to hear recently that a lady had enjoyed reading the story over her afternoon coffee. I imagined her sitting back with her feet up reading about Ralph listening to his grandfather’s exciting travel tales, which inspired him to want to become an adventurer himself some day. Trouble is, as an adult, his imagination can sometimes get him into hot water, so there’s a twist or two for the reader.
The Ralph story is free and appears in the follow-up eBook, SHADES, a collection of nine short fictional works – it normally costs 99 cents, but if you’re quick, you can make use of the freebie offer which expires Sunday 4th December.
Both eBooks are suitable for downloading to popular eReaders such as The Kindle, Nook & iPad; although you can purchase or sample the works in pretty much any format – for eReaders, reading on your computer or printing off at home.
