CYCLOPATHIC TENDENCIES - Alannah Foley's forthcoming novel set in the world of cyclingSince releasing Tales from Corny Cove a few months ago, I’ve been clattering away at the keyboard, writing another bestseller (always pays to be positive!) and, as promised in last week’s blog, I’m now giving you the low-down on what’s in store for my readers…

Cyclopathic Tendencies is the nifty title of my forthcoming novel which is currently at the final draft stage. It’s another work of fiction and is set in the world of cycling.

Like Tales from Corny Cove, the book is based in a beautiful setting, this time on a sprawling manor estate in the English countryside where young pro cyclist, Mark Bradley, goes to train for the upcoming Tour de France.

An action/adventure-style novel with my trademark thread of humour running through it, the book will appeal first and foremost to the cyclists among us, although it’s written so as to be accessible to non-cyclists as well – ie without drowning you in bikey jargon!

The book is scheduled for release some time before Christmas. Check out the full blurb on the new Cyclopathic Tendencies page of my website. If you have any family or friends who’re into cycling or enjoy novels with a bit of action and humour, please do pass on the link.

As many of you will know, a few years ago, I wrote Cycling Widows (Lifting the Veil on Living with an Obsessive Cyclist), a satirical look at the world of cycling from a Cycling Widow’s point of view.

With the release of Cyclopathic Tendencies, I’m rebranding Cycling Widows and incorporating a Cycling Widow’s Survival Guide along with it.

For updates, you can do any of the following quick & easy moves:

I hope you’ll look forward to reading the new books!
